Data is a boring word, right? Nevertheless, we cannot ignore its importance, regardless of the field in which we find ourselves. Data is highly valued in the business world as it forms the basis for creating strategies, setting goals, and making crucial business decisions. In today's highly competitive market, the correct and timely use of data ensures business growth and a competitive edge. The data is growing rapidly. According to Northeastern University, nearly 2.5 exabytes are produced every day, which equates to 530,000,000 million songs, 250,000 Libraries of Congress, or 90 years of HD video. However, their quantity does not custom t shirts automatically make them useful. We believe that for data to be meaningful and useful for solving problems, it must be “beautiful”. What do we mean by “beautiful” here? Take 90 years of HD video as an example. The phrase "90 years of HD video" might sound great, but it's not (yet) useful. What if we could break it down into “20 years of educational videos”, “30 years of fun videos” and “40 years of sports/inspirational videos”. The data is now starting to look more useful. This is "beauty". We made it more meaningful, more comprehensible and easier to understand. In real life, it's not so easy to attach beauty to data. But what if you had a tool that could help you convert your rather boring data into visually appealing information? Visuals make data interesting You probably already know that visual content is becoming more and more important. Some 3.2 billion photos are shared every day on social media and social messaging platforms. Additionally, BuzzSumo found that Facebook updates with images get 2.3 times more engagement than those without. It seems logical that data would be more shareable if it came in the form of an image.
